But that's not all...
I'm also a busy mom just like you! This is exactly why I believe in the basics...safe and effective training. I believe in not over-complicating things, and doing exactly what is necessary to get the body we all want! It's not about following the latest and greatest fad diet or exercise, it's about consistency and following a protocol that has been proven to work time and time again!
Fun fact about me, I like to fly under the radar. During college, I thought I’d be a TV news reporter. After my first internship working at a local news station, I quickly realized that I’d much rather put others in front of the camera — which is how I fell into my first career in the field of public relations. I absolutely loved everything about public relations, and never expected to find a second career that sparked that fire in me, but I did.
Fitness has always been a passion of mine. I still remember leading my first Spinning class nearly 18 years ago riding the high that comes from watching others push past physical and mental barriers. Naturally, my love of Spinning led me to explore other areas of fitness picking up certifications in other formats, obtaining my CPT (Certified Personal Trainer) and CNC (Certified Nutrition Coach) certifications.
When I began my own fitness journey, I was addicted to all the group exercise classes – Spinning, BodyPump, cardio kickboxing, HIIT style classes, and bootcamps. Truthfully, they were a blast! However, I never saw my hard work and sweat manifest into a body that looked strong and lean until I discovered strength training.
I’ve been lifting heavy things for the last 6 years and sometimes compete in bodybuilding shows in the bikini division. While I love the discipline that comes with training for a show, my true joy comes from watching my clients crush their own fitness goals!

My husband Tony and I have been married for 13 years and have two beautiful children: Xander (age 9) and Lucy (age 8). I find myself truly at peace when I’m in nature: hiking, kayaking, biking, camping and gardening (even though most of my plants fear me, lol). I’m a self-proclaimed nerd who loves all things fantasy – Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Star Wars, and more. Other hobbies include reading, cooking, baking and wine tasting.
